ANN AND HER KITTENS

Ann has a cat called Kitty. When she first got kitty she was a few days old, but now she is quite big. Ann loves kitty and kitty loves ann. In the mornings she sits at the foot of the stairs waiting for Ann to come down. Then she has some bread and milk for her breakfast. Kitty likes a little tea in her milk. She is very spoilt.
One morning she was nowhere to be found. Ann went to look for her and found her in her basket in the kitchen with four little kittens. They were all black like their mother, but one had a white spot on the tip of it nose.
Some weeks later Ann’s mother said:”we cannot keep all these kittens you know. You must ask all your friends if they want them.” So Ann told all the girls at school and a few days later four of them came to choose their kittens. Ann’s cousin chooses the one with the white spot. Ann was glad, for she loved that one best.
Ann missed the kittens when they were gone. But kitty did not seem to mind.
